It Costs You Nothing Extra

The commission comes out of the company’s side of the sale. The tour, the room or the book costs the same on that site whether you arrive through our link or on your own. Other sellers may charge differently, so prices elsewhere can vary.

If you would rather not use our links, search for the tour or the book by name. Everything we list is easy to find without us.

What It Pays For

Spookt is free to read and has no paywall. The commissions keep the research going: the books, the archive requests, the photo licences, and the time it takes to check a ghost story against the record before we publish it.

What we write about a place comes from our research and our sources, which are listed at the bottom of every page.

Ratings and Prices

Tour ratings combine Viator and Tripadvisor reviews. If a price or rating has gone stale, we hide it rather than show you something out of date.
