Wildsam, a travel publisher, says the Episcopal bishop of Georgia exorcised this house on December 7, 1963, and that the strange noises in it stopped for 12 days, then came back. The bishop was later recalled as saying, "That ghost isn't a good Episcopalian because I gave it my best shot."
