The Sorrento Hotel is in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood. The historic hotel opened in 1909, right before the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition was held in the city.

Drawing curious travelers and wide-eyed gold diggers alike, the hotel was built in a lavish Italian-oasis style. It has received numerous accolades for its rich decor and history, and was named a Seattle landmark in 2010.
